By the numbers
Original researchWhere did eDreams fares land across our US route sample?
Across 31 routes from United States and 1,550 fares captured on August 2026, eDreams returned a result on 25 of them — 81% coverage — and landed inside the competitive band on 22 routes, or 71% of the sample. The competitive band is a position, not a discount: it means the fare sat within 25% of the lowest price we found on that same route, measured route by route. The shape of that result follows the business model. eDreams is the flagship brand of eDreams ODIGEO, a Madrid-headquartered group that sells flights, hotels, flight-and-hotel packages and car hire, and it has increasingly built its pricing around Prime, the paid subscription it launched in 2017. Opodo, GO Voyages and Travellink are sister brands of the same group, not separate rivals. Before you buy, check whether the price you are quoted is a member price and, if so, what the subscription costs and when it renews. Then confirm the fare rules and the total at checkout.
Our eDreams analysis
Based on 1,550 live fares across 31 popular routes from United States.
We analyzed 1,550 live fares across 31 popular routes from United States (snapshot August 2026) and measured how eDreams performs on coverage, price and traveler trust.
Our verdict on eDreams
eDreams is one of Europe's largest online flight retailers, and on our sample it reached most routes and frequently landed inside our competitive band. Whether it suits your trip depends on the route and on whether a paid subscription fits how you travel. Check both with a free search at TICKETS.US.

eDreams: subscription, tickets and changes
What is eDreams Prime, and do I need it?
Prime is eDreams' paid travel subscription, launched in 2017. It is a membership rather than a points-based loyalty scheme, so the benefit shows up as member pricing rather than points you collect. If the fare you are shown is a Prime price, check what the subscription costs, when it renews, and how to cancel it before you decide whether the total is worth it.
Is eDreams the same company as Opodo or GO Voyages?
They are separate storefronts of the same parent. eDreams ODIGEO was formed in June 2011 by merging eDreams, GO Voyages and Opodo, together with Travellink, so those brands are siblings within one group rather than rivals. eDreams is the flagship brand, and the group has been listed on the Spanish stock exchanges since April 2014 under the ticker EDR.
Who operates my flight, and where do I check the booking?
eDreams is a retailer, not an airline — the flight is operated by the carrier named on your itinerary. When the confirmation arrives, check the operating airline for each leg and the reference number shown against it, and reconfirm the booking with that airline before you make onward plans. Keep the confirmation until you have flown.
What happens if I need to change or cancel?
Two sets of rules can apply: the airline's fare conditions and the retailer's own terms. Before you pay, read the fare rules for the ticket you are choosing and look at eDreams' terms and any fee schedule shown at checkout, so you know what a change or cancellation would cost. The cheapest fares are usually the most restrictive.
How did eDreams do in the TICKETS.US route check?
We searched 31 US routes and captured 1,550 fares. eDreams returned a result on 25 of them, and on 22 routes its fare sat within 25% of the lowest price we found on that same route. That is a position measured route by route, not a discount claim — and it means six routes in the sample had no eDreams result.
About the provider
eDreams
eDreams is the flagship consumer brand of eDreams ODIGEO, one of Europe's largest online flight retailers. It was founded in 1999 in Silicon Valley by Javier Pérez-Tenessa, together with James Hare and Mauricio Prieto, and built its business from Spain. The parent group was formed in June 2011 through the merger of eDreams, GO Voyages and Opodo, along with Travellink, and has been listed on the Spanish stock exchanges since April 2014 under the ticker EDR. Its headquarters moved from Luxembourg to Madrid in 2020. The brand sells flights, hotels, flight-and-hotel packages and car hire, increasingly organized around Prime, the paid travel subscription it launched in 2017. Prime is a subscription, not a points-based loyalty scheme, and Opodo, GO Voyages and Travellink are sister brands within the same group rather than competitors.
